60th European Senior Karate Championships: INFORMATION
On 7-11 of May, Armenia will host the European Senior Karate Championships for the first time, with more than 1,000 athletes and delegates from 54 countries participating.
The 60th European Senior Championships will take place at the K. Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex. The tournament is being held with state support.
According to Vazgen Harutyunyan, President of the Armenian National Karate Federation, the European Karate Federation’s electoral conference will also be held in Yerevan within the framework of the championship.
“We are ready to organize the championship in the best possible way, as well as ensure the proper participation of our athletes. We are confident that this event will become a great sporting celebration,” noted Vazgen Harutyunyan.
For the information of all accredited media, the opening ceremony of the tournament will take place on 8 of May, at 6:00 PM. The first bouts of the tournament will start on 7 of May, and the final bouts will be held on 10 and 11 of May.
