Armenia also registered the first gold medal in the official WKF karate tournament in Kata competition. Anil Shariatpanahi, the athlete representing Armenia in the Karate 1 Youth League tournament held in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, passed 5 rounds in the U14 girls category and won the 6th final round and became a gold medalist.
