Gor Nersisyan and Yura Zalyan have qualified for the 2025 World Championships.
We are pleased to announce that Armenian national karate team athletes Gor Nersisyan and Yura Zalyan have qualified from the 2025 European Championships to participate in the World Senior Championships, which will take place in Cairo, Egypt, from November 27 to 30.
Yura Zalyan will represent Armenia in the -60kg weight category and Gor Nersisyan in the -84kg weight category.
The remaining athletes of the national team will participate in the World Championship qualification tournament which will take place in Paris, France, from October 17 to 19, 2025, after which they can also receive a rating to participate in the World Championships.
