The President of the Armenian National Karate Federation Vazgen Harutyunyan took part in Congress of the World Karate Federation held in Venice, Italy, on the eve of the World U21 Karate Championship, on October 8. Representatives of federations of 85 countries took part in the Congress.
The plans of the World Karate Federation in 2025, issues related to the Youth Olympic Games to be held in Dakar, Senegal in 2026, and the possibility of including karate in the Brisbane Olympic Games in 2032 and the work being done in that direction were discussed.
